Muslims throughout the world were absolutely appalled and
furious this week, when a Danish newspaper published cartoons depicting the
Holy Prophet ﷺ .
Here in South Africa, the Muslims also need to show our
discontent concerning the blasphemous pictures published by the jyllands
posten. As Muslims and True Aashiqs of the Holy Prophet ﷺ , we cannot remain silent when someone tries to attack the
personality of the Holy Prophet M. The cartoons published in jyllands posten and other
European newspapers are definitely offensive and blasphemy.
Muslims have the greatest respect and honour for the Holy
Prophet ﷺ and we regard him as the greatest and most exalted
personality in Allah’s Creation. It is time we woke up and realised the open
attack of the west on our beloved Rasool ﷺ . Those that have published this have done so claiming
“Freedom of Expression”.
Let it be known that “Freedom of Expression” does not give
anyone the right to slander the Prophet ﷺ . “Freedom of Expression” does not mean that one can say
whatever one wishes and do whatsoever one wants and then declare that it is on
the basis of “Freedom of Expression”. If those who published it called it “Freedom
of Expression” then they have clearly expressed their dislike and enmity for
Islam. They have expressed their true feelings, and how they look at the
Prophet of Islam ﷺ . They have expressed their hatred for the Prophet M and they have clearly expressed that they have no respect
for the Muslims, their feelings and for the religion of Islam.
We too should use this so called “Freedom of Expression” by
expressing how we feel about anyone who slanders our Nabi ﷺ , We too must express how we feel about those who think
that our Prophet ﷺ is someone that they can ridicule in a cartoon, We too must
express our discontent by not buying any of the products produced by the
countries in which this blasphemy has occurred.
We must stop supporting completely all those organisations,
institutions and media who have published or showed intent to publish such
false depictions of our Beloved Prophet ﷺ .
We condemn this blasphemous act against the Prophet ﷺ and we call on the Muslim of South Africa and the rest of
the Ummah to openly show their love for the Holy Prophet ﷺ , now even more than ever, by holding firm to our
principles and to our beliefs. Let this event be a time for us as Muslims, to
ponder on our responsibilities as Ummat-e-Mustafa ﷺ . Let us increase our love for our Prophet ﷺ .
Commemorate the Maulood Nabi ﷺ gatherings even more than before, Hold huge gatherings of
Durood and Salaam. Let us drown ourselves in the Love of Our Nabi ﷺ , Let us praise him abundantly, Let us deliver lectures on
his unique and blessed life. Let us inculcate in our children the environment
of “Ishq-e-Rasool” and let the echoes of Azaan, Durood and Salaam fill the
world. This is our greatest battle against those who falsely portray our Nabi ﷺ . The best way to protest against their insolence is to
strengthen our Imaan in such a testing time by following the Sunnah of the
Prophet ﷺ and by portraying the Holy Prophet ﷺ in all aspects of our lives. Leave the ways of the west and
hold fast to that which our beloved Rasool ﷺ taught us. Remember! Those who try to belittle the Prophet
of Allah will be disgraced by Allah. The more they try the stronger the Imaan
of the Muslims will become. Let us strengthen our Imaan with a “Zero Tolerance” attitude. We will not tolerate any attack on the Zaat of
our Nabi ﷺ .
Those Who Try To
destroy The Prophets Dignity will Destroy
Themselves. Let them, who burn in his enmity burn in their own inner hatred.
