Unknown gunmen riding motorbikes opened fire on a car in Karachi on Wednesday, killing  famous Pakistani Qawwal Amjad Sabri and wounding another person. The attack took place in Liaquatabad area of the city. According to eyewitnesses, Amjad Sabri was critically wounded in the attack. He was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where he died from his wounds. Speaking to SAMAA, Amjad Sabri’s assistant confirmed that the qawal was wounded in the shooting. Sabri’s brother also confirmed the martyrdom of Amjad Sabri in the attack.
